2009 Roze

I am very excited about the release of my new boutique Roze (spelt with a Z as it is made from my Zinfandel grapes).

Going on the comments of my tasting group, including the winemaker, it is shaping up to be a Rosé of note. This part of the zinfandel block was grown specifically for the making of this wine, made in the style sometimes referred to as Blush which is very popular in the USA, particularly California.

There are only 120 cases available @ $192.00 per case so be in early for your orders as this Rosé is one of the best I have tasted yet and is ideal for the summer.

Colour: Brilliant ruby pink, light intensity.
Aroma: Strawberries, raspberries, ripe cherries, pink grapefruit, and a light rose-like floral note.
Palate: Fleshy ripe red berry fruit flavours continue on the palate, balanced by a crisp acidity level, finishing with lingering flavours of sweet cherries and ripe raspberries.
